Poem Remember Wedding Day

Quote Board

Italy is the third-last place in Europe regarding the number of women on the boards of publicly traded companies. In short, the world economy and business in our country, it still seems heavily male, undemocratic, inequitable. Despite all this, at a time when our country is suffering from a severe loss of competitiveness compared to EU member states, the bill includes the introduction of female quotas in the Board has suffered - the Senate - on which a slowdown on weigh demands for greater gradation of Confindustria, ABI and Ania.
In Norway, a law of this kind has been around for years and the share rose is set at 40 percent. In Sweden the law, in force since 2003, provides for an equal number by 50 percent. In Spain by 2015 at least 40 percent of seats in the Board will be reserved for women. In France, the presence of women on the boards of listed companies will be 20 percent by 2014 and 40 percent by 2017. No such rule exists, however, compulsory in Germany.

There are now many studies which demonstrate that women's conduct is often a competitive advantage in business, terms of soundness and profitability. But our government, once again, you missed a great opportunity for growth and development. Mobilize ProQuota Board!
