Awarded the prestigious award by the Academy of Management & Institute of New Technologies of Lodz (Poland) for the "Knowledge, motivation, work" in order to increase the rate of female employment

Indesit Company has been recognized as a company more committed to the promotion of equal opportunities, under the "Knowledge, motivation, work - women and careers in the city of Lodz, co-funded by the European Union and the European Social Fund. The project aims to promote Higher levels of female employment in the region, support for equal opportunities and social and professional inclusion of women in the labor market. The program was developed through the organization of seminars, training courses, workshops, working groups and counseling in different professional fields, allowing access to relevant information to more than 1,000 women, of which 80 are unemployed. The closing event was held March 28 in the Academy of Management & Institute of New Technologies in Lodz.
The objective is to facilitate the employment of women in the labor market in the world. Consider that currently the company employs about Poland 2500 people in the area of \u200b\u200bLodz, of which 45% are women. Among other things, this year, there is also the opening of two new plants in the nearby town of Radomsko. By the end of 2006, women accounted for about Indesit-third of Employees: over 17,000 people engaged in the world, 30% were women. The presence of women in management company has grown from 8% in 2005 to 14% in 2006. Indesit daily lives the concept of equal opportunities in all markets where it operates. The management of "diversity" creates value and is fed by a continuous process of knowledge integration and exchange between people belonging to different cultures and ethnicities different, providing opportunity for growth for people not only professionally but also personally.
